How do I choose the most appropriately sized accessories for me?

Our neoprene accessories all made from super stretch neoprene so you might want to order a size smaller than usual to ensure a tight fit. Please refer to our size guides and measure your hands / feet to check

How do I choose the best Changing Robe size for me?

We have given you a detailed size guide, but do remember that you want the changing robe to be slightly oversized, to allow you to get undressed inside comfortably.

Should I order multiple sizes just in case?

We are a small business with a limited amount of stock so we will not able to offer multiples of sizes to everyone before our stock runs low. Rather than ordering two or three items to try on, please refer to our detailed size guides before deciding the best size for you. If you would like help or fit advice please contact us help@seal-swim.co.uk and someone who knows about swimming and knows our product should be able to help you decide. Please also bear in mind that you are responsible for the price of returning any unsuitable items, so you might want to minimise the number of packages you have to return to us

How do I go about buying a gift for someone?

You can either choose and send them an item direct (although any refunds would have to be applied to your payment method if they returned the item) or you can select a virtual gift voucher from the shopping section which can be redeemed against any of our products.

Do you offer exchanges?

No, unfortunately we do not at the moment, but you can return the item to us and order a new one as a replacement. You may want to wait until we have refunded you the money from the first purchase of course.

How do I look after my neoprene accessories?

The best way to preserve the colours and quality of the neoprene is to simply rinse (no detergent) your neoprene after your swim and hang it to air dry. The gloves and socks are very effective at stopping water from passing through so you will have to turn them inside out to properly dry them once you have rinsed them. You can either stand or hang them to dry them in a warm cupboard, near a radiator (best to avoid direct heat) or simply hang them over the bath or shower to drip dry.

How do I look after my changing robe?

Your changing robe will protect you from the harshest of elements for many years to come, so please do try and follow the care instructions (here). Simply hang it to dry after a rainy day and it will be ready to use again in no time at all. If it gets muddy please sponge it down with a damp cloth and again hang to dry. You can occasionally wash it (30 degree cycle only, no fabric conditioner) but please do not dry clean or tumble dry as this affects the waterproof coating and over time will mean that the changing robe will lose its effectiveness

Can I re-waterproof my changing robe in a few years?

Yes, if you think it needs it. There are a number of re-waterproofing treatments available. We recommend Nix Wax. Please follow the instructions carefully in order to preserve your changing robe.

Will you be offering more colours and sizes?

Yes! We are a new business so are only able to offer a few size and colour options at the moment. We are planning to launch a more comprehensive range of sizes next year, so do please get in touch ideas@seal-swim.co.uk if you have any particular requests or ideas for new colourways you would to see!
